Higher Education Forms and Templates
** PLEASE NOTE THAT NO HIGHER EDUCATION APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER COB WEDNESDAY 31 AUGUST 2011 **
National application forms and templates have been developed for the approval process of higher education institutions and the accreditation of their courses. Applications must be made in accordance with the national forms and templates. The South Australian version of these forms can be found below.
Before higher education registration and/or accreditation is approved the Quality and Tertiary Education Policy (QTEP) Directorate within the Department of Further Education, Employment, Science and Technology (DFEEST) must be satisfied that the applicant meets the relevant requirements under the National Protocols and Guidelines and that the applicant has the staff and learning resources to deliver the courses.
The applicant must provide detailed information on course outcomes and demonstrate that the courses are designed to satisfy the requirements of the proposed qualification under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). The applicant must satisfy QTEP that the proposed courses and the quality assurance arrangements in place for them are comparable in standard to similar award courses in Australian universities.
